"A perfect-sized mountain for children that are learning and adults that are experienced! Fun to tube when kids’ legs were tired Great for a large group. A welcoming lodge to warm up with young children. Delicious food and a comfortable gathering space. The wifi came in handy when I had to dive into "work" mode for a bit in the lodge."

"Breathtaking views and in great location near lake george / saratoga springs. Snowtubing has 2 levels which was great for my Lil kid and hope to still be back to try skiing."

"Great family mountain experience, including for young kids. Our first-time skier enrolled in ski school, and her instructor was very patient with a 4-year-old, and got her going up magic carpet at end. Great lodge and upstairs restaurant for ski breaks!"

"Awesome spot for families and beginners! West Mountain is perfect for snow tubing and learning to ski. The tubing lanes are fast and fun, and the magic carpet makes it super easy to keep going. The beginner ski slopes were wide and not intimidating. Great experience all around!"

"Our favorite mountain for a family ski weekend is West Mountain! Just the right size to not lose anyone but big enough to explore trails throughout the weekend. RFID tickets keep the lift moving with no lines! Excellent pricing. Even the food is good (try the hamburgers—awesome!) I recently organized a huge group of families to ski at the mountain, and we were handled beautifully! We enjoyed a BBQ buffet and tubing party with s’mores. The staff is friendly and..."

"We had a magical time at West Mountain. We went for a group trip and can’t wait to go back. From the ski instructors to the cafeteria cooks, the staff was remarkable.
